Terms of Service

Our hosting services are managed by DigitalOcean, Linode, and Vultr. You must abide by their terms of service:

In addition, we impose the following terms of service:

You must register only one account. If you are found to have multiple accounts, we reserve the right to close them all, and destroy any servers attached to them.

All payments are final. There are no refunds or withdrawals. Please, top up the amount you intend on spending.

Under circumstances where we deem a refund justifiable, this will be in the form of credit added to your bithost account only.

Once your balance gets below $0.00, your servers will be permanently destroyed.

Only one account is permitted per user. If you are found to have multiple accounts they may be terminated, along with your servers, without notice.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

No Harmful or Malicious Activity

Our services must never be used to promote, support, or carry out harmful or malicious activities. Any action intended to cause damage, disruption, loss, or unauthorized access is strictly prohibited.

This includes fraudulent websites or applications designed to deceive or harm others, such as:

  • Phishing attacks — websites or applications that impersonate trusted entities in order to steal sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, banking details, or credit card information.
  • Denial of Service (DoS) attacks — flooding a target with excessive traffic or requests to disrupt operations, reduce performance, or make services unavailable to legitimate users.

We also prohibit applications or activities that compromise the security or integrity of systems, including but not limited to:

  • Accessing or attempting to access systems without authorization.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing systems for vulnerabilities without permission.
  • Attempting to bypass security controls, authentication measures, or other protective mechanisms.

Any misuse of our services for malicious, disruptive, or unauthorized activities may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

Remedial Action

The following steps will take place upon report of abuse.

In most cases, the offending server will be taken offline and left suspended.

A member of the support team will pass on all details of the offence and give simple instructions on what actions need to be taken to reach a resolution. Failure to address abuse reports can result in account termination.

In severe cases, the server may be destroyed to prevent further damage and the account responsible for provisioning the offending server will be permanently terminated with no chance of appeal.
